Booking and Payment Policy
This page explains how booking, payment and cancellation work with Wild Pass Treks. If anything is unclear, message us before you pay.
Deposit and confirmation
A deposit of 20% of the trip price secures your booking. Once we receive it, we send you a written confirmation.
Paying the balance
The balance is paid after you arrive in Kathmandu and before the trek begins, in cash or by bank payment. If we agree something different in writing, that agreement applies.
How you can pay
- From outside Nepal: international bank transfer
- From within Nepal: bank deposit
Bank, transfer and currency conversion fees are paid by the traveller.
Bank details
Our bank details are shown on the confirmation page right after you submit the booking form. Please send us the deposit slip or a screenshot on WhatsApp so we can confirm your booking.
If you cancel
- 30 to 16 days before departure: 50% of the trip price
- 15 to 8 days before departure: 80% of the trip price
- 7 days or fewer before departure: 100% of the trip price
The deposit is not refunded, but you can use it for another trek of similar value within one year. If you stop or leave the trek for your own reasons after it has started, there is no refund.
If we cancel
If we cannot run the trip, your deposit can be used for another trek. Any balance you have already paid is refunded after taxes and unavoidable costs are deducted.
Refunds
Refunds are normally made within 15 to 30 business days, to the same payment method.
